“Pain in the Offering”
Friday, March 30th, 2007During church the other Sunday some lyrics of a song hit me. The song was “Blessed Be Your Name” and the lyrics that hit me were “Though there’s pain in the offering”.
These hit me so hard because I realized (I think for the first time) what the offering was…me…
God doesn’t promise and easy life but He does promise a saved life if you put your trust in Him!
Blessed be Your name
When the sun’s shining down on me
When the world’s “all as it should be”
Blessed be You name
And blessed be Your name
On the road marked with suffering
Though there’s pain in the offering
Blessed be Your name
Be encouraged today to give Him praise through both the easy and hard times!
