First let me say that I’m horribly sorry I haven’t been posting here! If I were to show you my timecard it would help explain my life for the past 4 months (I have averaged over 70 hours a week) and at least a small reason why I haven’t had the time.

I’m reading through Jeremiah lately…it’s taking a while…that is a long book! But it is great! It’s hard not to parallel it with what is happening with the United States these days. I’ve been impressed with how strong Jeremiah was to be able to stick to the message of “doom” and not go the way of the false prophets telling God’s people how things are “ok”…it’s also amazing to see the zeal Jeremiah had, I pray that I will have that each day!

My encouragement to you is to pray for the strength to stand on the truth, to stand on what Christ is telling you and instructing you in. Don’t listen to the world, it is lost and is about “not offending” people! The truth can be offensive! That isn’t any reason to not stand on it!
